Dear Bernadette......I'm having great difficulty blending your ringwood stitch panels into my 35 foot long spandex lycra boat cover!!! I just can't tell if the problem lies with the disparity between the materials or if the dayglow orange colouring is simply not suited to traditional ringwood stitching ??? Can you advise me?? Should I unravel the 34.5 foot of plain pearl stitching I have already completed or should I simply start again??? Yours....Fia.
ReplyDeleteTo all you knitters out there and especially to Fia who seems to be having terrible problems with his 35 foot lycra boat cover, I do get really strange customers sometimes. So Fia the problem I believe is with your base calculations for the coefficient of linear expansion in spandex, you may have mixed the x and y plains and not allowed for the temperature and pressure gradients in Ireland!
